Using Caring

Terms of Use

These terms describe the intended role of Caring, the limits of the service, and how paid subscriptions will work.

Last updated: 21 August 2026

Pre-launch notice: This is a product draft, not final legal advice. Company details, jurisdiction, refund language, plan terms, and third-party services must be finalised before launch.

1. Caring's role

Caring is an informational health-data application. It is intended to receive compatible vital information through supported devices and APIs, organise that information, and provide AI-assisted summaries for users and people they choose to trust.

2. No medical service

Caring does not onboard doctors, provide medical consultations, monitor emergencies, diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace professional care. Do not delay seeking medical care because of information displayed by Caring.

If you believe you have a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure, providing accurate information, and using Caring lawfully. You must not attempt to access another person's information without permission, interfere with the service, reverse engineer protected systems, or use Caring to make automated clinical decisions.

4. Device and API availability

Available vitals, update frequency, and accuracy depend on supported devices, third-party platforms, network access, user permissions, and external APIs. Caring cannot guarantee that every reading will be available, complete, continuous, or error-free.

5. Paid subscriptions

Paid features will be offered in different tiers through the Apple App Store and Google Play. The final price, billing period, trial terms, taxes, and available features will be shown before purchase.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the store used to purchase them.
  • Cancellation stops future renewal and does not normally end access before the current paid period expires.
  • Refunds are handled according to Apple's or Google's applicable policies.
  • Feature availability may vary by platform, region, connected provider, and plan.

6. AI outputs

AI-generated summaries may contain mistakes, omissions, or unexpected interpretations. Users must not rely on them as clinical conclusions. Important health concerns should be reviewed with a qualified healthcare professional.

7. Account suspension and termination

Access may be limited or terminated when necessary to protect users, comply with law, prevent misuse, or respond to a material breach of these terms. You may stop using Caring and request account deletion at any time.

8. Contact

For questions about these terms, contact support@caring-app.com. The final registered address and governing-law information will be added before public release.
