Pre-launch notice: This policy is a working draft. It must be reviewed against the final mobile app, connected APIs, analytics tools, legal entity, and launch regions before publication.
1. Information Caring may process
Depending on the features and connections you choose, Caring may process:
- Account details such as your name, email address, phone number, and profile settings.
- Health and wellness information received from supported devices, platforms, or provider APIs.
- Information you enter directly, including notes, reminders, and wellbeing check-ins.
- Subscription status supplied by the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Technical information needed for security, performance, diagnostics, and support.
2. How information may be used
Information may be used to provide your dashboard, organise trends, generate AI-assisted informational summaries, enable sharing that you request, manage your account, verify subscription access, improve app reliability, prevent abuse, and answer support requests.
3. AI-assisted features
Caring may use artificial intelligence to arrange data, identify patterns, and present plain-language summaries. These outputs are informational. They are not a diagnosis, medical opinion, treatment recommendation, or substitute for a qualified healthcare professional.
4. Sharing and service providers
Caring may share limited information with infrastructure, analytics, communications, security, subscription-verification, and API providers only as needed to operate the service. Health information is shared with family members or caregivers only when you enable that access.
Caring does not onboard doctors and does not make health information available to a clinical monitoring team.
5. Data security and retention
Reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards will be used to protect information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Information will be retained only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security.
6. Your choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion of your information. You may also remove a trusted person's access, disconnect supported data sources, or withdraw optional permissions through the app and device settings.
7. Account deletion
You may request deletion through the in-app account settings or the public account deletion page. Some transaction, security, or legal records may need to be retained for a limited period where required by law.
8. Children
The final minimum age and guardian-consent rules will depend on Caring's launch markets. Caring should not be used by a child without the involvement and consent required by applicable law.
